It’s time, and it seems to creep up every year for it to start earlier… It’s time for everything, Pumpkin Spice! This Skinny Pumpkin Spice Latte is one of my favorites for replacing my Starbucks Pumpkin Spice Latte, which is at least 13 points depending on your milk and size, whereas this version is only 3 Weight Watchers points.

Now, I have always said my favorite part of Weight Watchers is that I can still have the things I love, but there are some things that I love a lower point version. Using Premier protein shakes to make my lattes has been a game-changer. And let’s face it, there is a lot of sugar in Starbucks that our bodies don’t need. There are days I struggle to get my protein in, so adding the extra 30 grams of protein with my coffee is fantastic.
When starting a new weight loss program or diet change, consult a doctor or physician about personal health concerns. It is a good idea to have blood sugar levels, blood pressure, and hormones checked at a physical before and during being on the WW program.
New to Weight Watchers?? Also known as WW, a weight loss program uses points assigned to food to track and lose weight. When you sign up, you take an assessment that will assign you a point value to eat daily and a weekly allowance. You can carry over 4 points from the day into your weekly budget, which is handy when you need more points.
I have been on Weight Watchers since 2011. They have had Points Plus Value, WW Smartpoints, blue plan, green plan, purple plan, WW Personal Points, and now Weight Watchers Points. The new Weight Watchers Simplified plan is the new program launched in November 2022 similar to previous plans like WW Smartpoints, with some color plans. ( You can see the weight watchers zero point foods 2023 -> here)
No matter the WW plan, they work to help you learn healthy eating habits. I have hit lifetime goal weight several times but stopped operating the plan and tracking, so the weight does creep back on. You stay on as a lifetime member, working towards your goal. Head on over ->here to get a month for free.
Premier Protein Salted Caramel– You can use another brand of protein shakes. These on the current plan are 3 WW Points; the Pure Protein salted Caramel shakes are only one point if you can find them.
Canned Pumpkin Puree– You could use fresh, pureed pumpkin, but it would need to be pureed. I find canned convenient to use.

Start by making your coffee however you choose. I used a Keriug to brew mine, but you could do an espresso shot or coffee from a regular coffee pot.
In your cup, add your pumpkin and some of the seasonings. You can add in the spices later. I was waiting for my coffee to brew.
Brew your coffee and pour it into the cup that has the pumpkin puree in the bottom. I used a clear Venti Starbucks cup.
Mix the coffee into the seasonings and pumpkin with a frother or whisk. I realized after making this that a frother would make this much faster and smoother, so I had to order one. (one of those moments that took years to come to realize)
Once the coffee and pumpkin are mixed, pour in your Caramel protein shake.
Mix the coffee pumpkin with the protein shake with a frother or whisk to remix everything.
If you want, top with whipped topping and sprinkle with pumpkin pie seasoning. Make sure you scan your Whipped Topping to know how many points the brand is.
Serve over ice to make an iced latte; add ice to the current cup or pour it into a new cup to make it pretty.
Throw in the blender with ice to serve more as a Frappicuno; add nonfat Greek yogurt to thicken it up and add more protein.
According to the Weight Watchers app and calculator, the lowest opinion for a Starbucks Pumpkin Spice Latte is 13 points, which go up with different sizes or kinds of milk.
Now, the only ingredient with points is the ready-to-drink caramel shake. The Premier Protein version is 3 points, and the Pure Protein version is 1 Point.
If you don’t have a Costco, Amazon has some of the best prices and a secure shopping platform for grabbing these! Plus, you can’t beat delivery to your door.
These shakes are 11 Fl Oz and Have 30 Grams of Protein and only 1g sugar in each with a creamy texture! They do have artificial flavors, but I don’t find them too potent or fake flavored. They have been an excellent tool for weight loss as they are quick and easy and make great drinks recipes!
I love to use ready-to-drink protein shakes to make drinks at home. They are so easy, and they taste amazing! These are the ones my family has made and love!
